What Happens When You Delete?

- Immediate Purge: Your account is immediately deactivated and removed from all shared workspaces.
- Data Erasure: All encrypted content is flagged for permanent deletion. Once the purge is complete, it CANNOT be recovered.
- Subscription Termination: Any active paid plans are instantly cancelled without refund.
Data Withdrawal Rights
We provide account deletion as part of our commitment to GDPR and CCPA privacy standards.
- The Right to be Forgotten: We ensure all your personal identifiers and activity logs are scrubbed from our production databases.
- Backup Lifecycle: Your data will be completely removed from our offline backup systems within 30 days of deletion.
Step-by-Step: Permanent Deletion
Follow this path only if you are certain you want to leave Arka permanently:
- Navigate to Settings -> Danger Zone.
- Export Backup: (Recommended) Perform a full Data Export before proceeding.
- Initiate: Click the 'Delete My Account Permanently' button.
- Confirm Identity: Enter your account password and the phrase 'DELETE MY ACCOUNT' to confirm intent.
- Confirm: Click the final red button to execute the deletion. You will be logged out and your data will be purged.
