Collaborative Workspaces

Workspaces are isolated containers that allow you to separate your projects, teams, or personal work with dedicated security and organization.

How to Create

Building a new project home takes seconds.

  • New Workspace: Click the '+' icon in your sidebar and select 'Create Workspace'.
  • Custom Branding: Set a custom name, description, and cover image to help your team stay oriented.
  • Cryptographic Setup: Arka automatically generates a unique encryption key for the workspace, ensuring total isolation from your other work.

Team Roles & Permissions

Manage who can see and edit your collaborative work.

  • Owner: Full control over settings, billing, and member management.
  • Admin: Can invite members, edit all content, and manage workspace taxonomy.
  • Member: Can create, edit, and share notes and files within the workspace.
  • Viewer: Read-only access to specific notes or the entire workspace.

Isolated Security

Each workspace is its own fortress.

  • Unique Encryption: Your personal notes and your team notes never share the same encryption key.
  • Wrapped Keys: Sharing is managed through cryptographically wrapped keys, maintaining the chain of trust.
  • Secure Invitation: Inviting a member uses asymmetric encryption to securely grant them access to the workspace key.
